Your responsibilities:
Architecture standards and design principles: You define overall architecture standards and design principles and their related technology direction across the entire ILF Group.
Coherent application and integration architecture: You ensure that applications, integrations, identity architecture and technology platforms fit together in a consistent, secure and scalable way.
Application architecture governance: You govern application architecture, including the target application landscape, rationalization principles, modernization patterns and reuse of strategic platforms.
Integration architecture standards: You define integration architecture standards, including API principles, event and data integration patterns, middleware choices, interoperability and interface governance.
Architectural review of major initiatives: You lead the architectural review of major initiatives, ensuring designs align with enterprise standards and long-term objectives.
Technology consistency: You prevent technology fragmentation, duplicate solutions and inconsistent implementation patterns across business units or regions.
Roadmaps: You contribute to technology roadmaps, target architectures, transition plans and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
Architecture governance support: You support architecture governance forums by preparing recommendations, assessing risks and documenting design decisions.
Application Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Architecture certification desirable, e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate, Certified Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
Cloud certifications desirable, e.g. Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent.
Significant experience in enterprise, lead, solution, application or technology architecture roles.
Strong background in application architecture, integration architecture, cloud platforms, data flows, APIs and enterprise systems.
Practical understanding of IAM architecture, including SSO, MFA, federation, RBAC, PAM, identity lifecycle and access governance.
Experience defining architecture standards, leading design reviews and influencing senior technical and business stakeholders.
Security and identity knowledge certifications desirable, e.g. Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, CISSP or equivalent.
IT service and governance knowledge desirable, e.g. ITIL, COBIT or a similar governance framework.
About the job:
This role is positioned within ILF’s Digitalization operating model and supports alignment between Group IT, Digitalization, architecture governance and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will help shape the future of ILF’s Group-wide application and integration landscape by translating enterprise architecture directions into practical solution, technology and design standards. You will define clear architectural direction, translate strategic priorities into practical technology choices, and ensure that our applications, platforms and integrations evolve into a coherent, secure and scalable ecosystem. The operational platform management remains with the relevant service teams, while this role provides architecture direction and design principles.
You will work at the intersection of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications and business owners, creating alignment across domains and helping teams make architecture decisions that are robust, understandable and actionable.
As a recognized architecture authority, you will balance long-term architecture standards with delivery realities such as cost, risk, operational feasibility and business agility. You will help prevent fragmentation and duplicate solutions while enabling teams to move forward with confidence.
