Role Overview
One of our clients is looking for an experienced Vulnerability Management Consultant to support and enhance its cyber security operations.
The consultant will play a key role in driving vulnerability management activities, improving operational processes, and ensuring the effective use of security platforms across the organisation.
This role combines daily operational responsibilities with continuous improvements, stakeholder engagement, automation initiatives, and security platform optimisation. The successful candidate will be comfortable acting as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on specialist, helping the organisation strengthen its vulnerability management capabilities and overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate vulnerability management activities across the organisation.
- Analyse, prioritise and track vulnerabilities through remediation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely mitigation of security findings.
- Improve and mature vulnerability management processes and workflows.
- Support security monitoring, analysis and escalation activities.
- Optimise the use of existing security platforms and processes.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using APIs and scripting.
- Support integrations between security tools and operational platforms.
- Act as a trusted advisor on vulnerability management best practices
