Assignment Description
- VCB distribution boxes, charging boxes, and inlet installations.
- PTO installations.
- Cable harness brackets and strain relief solutions.
- VCA cable interface integration within the chassis domain.
- The assignment involves collaboration with global teams across product planning, production, and design, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- You will also be expected to support and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital tools and engineering processes, helping drive innovation in future transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop VCB system installations within heavy truck projects, using CATIA and company design standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and suppliers to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.
- Support integration, validation testing, and design reviews, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and support production-related activities when needed.
- Participate in daily team activities, including stand-ups, coordination meetings, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of design engineering experience, preferably in automotive industries.
- Strong skills in sheet metal bracket design.
- Experience in chassis installation for heavy-duty trucks.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturability principles for sheet metal.
