Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work with business-critical data flows, reporting solutions, and modern cloud-based data platforms. The client is undergoing a major transformation from legacy platforms to a modern cloud-native data ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves technical design, development, implementation, modernization, and maintenance of data solutions.

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud & Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions, modern data pipelines, APIs, and ETL processes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Docker.

• Architecture & Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native architectures by translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices. Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Software development and data engineering.

• Hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.

• Strong knowledge of Python, Big Query, and SQL.

• Experience with Data form**, Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Docker.**

• Understanding of modern data architectures, including Data Warehouse and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with ETL processes and data modelling, such as dimensional modelling or Data Vault.

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.

• Experience with GitLab.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
