About the Role:
This entry-level role is your chance to turn raw data into critical insights that guide decision-making across our entire organisation. You'll collaborate directly with Sales, Product Owners, and Senior Management and others, gaining exposure to a wide range of business functions.
We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, kind, and humble individual to join our team. You'll get hands-on with our modern data stack—think GCP, BigQuery, DBT, and Airflow—to build robust data solutions. This is more than just running queries; you'll help teams define their data needs and build the data models and Looker dashboards that answer their most pressing questions.
For a recent graduate, this is a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge, master in-demand technologies, and see your work make a tangible impact. We foster a collaborative environment where you'll be encouraged to learn, communicate effectively, and leverage our AI-assisted development workflow to enhance analysis and build solutions more efficiently.

OSTTRA has the largest financial institutions in the world as clients. We believe that long-term value to the client is the most important goal of our team, and technology is the tool to bring that value, and your contribution in the form of delivery, improvements and innovations can have a significant impact on the financial system.

- Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into data requirements.
- Report and Dashboard Development:
- Design, build, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports in Looker.
- Iterate on and enhance existing reports based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Data Modelling & Transformation:
- Use DBT to transform, model, and test data within our data warehouse, preparing it for analysis.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Airflow managed data pipelines to ensure data is accurate, timely, and reliable.
- Work with data engineers to improve data quality, consistency, and ingestion processes.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present findings, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Clearly communicate complex insights and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay curious and up-to-date with the latest trends in our tech stack (GCP, BigQuery, DBT, Looker) and the broader data analytics field.
- Proactively seek opportunities for skill development and training, including leveraging our internal AI-assisted tools.
What's in it for you:
We strongly believe in individual growth and have long experience in guiding early careers engineers in our modern approach to software production, which includes:
- Rapid, iterative and phased delivery, backed by automated testing and deployment frameworks.
- Streamlined, autonomous and independent teams, optimised and supported for fast change.
