Senior Purchaser / Sourcer – MRO or IT

We are looking for three experienced Purchasers/Sourcers for full-time assignments in Stockholm. Two consultants will focus on MRO sourcing, while one consultant will specialize in IT sourcing.

In this role, you will execute complex sourcing activities and develop sustainable solutions that create long-term business value. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve an optimal balance between quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and execute sourcing activities within MRO or IT.
• Consolidate business requirements and support supplier evaluations and negotiations.
• Ensure effective commercial governance and supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business objectives.
• Negotiate agreements that secure supplier performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Conduct spend analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Challenge existing ways of working and propose sustainable sourcing solutions.
• Balance quality, delivery, and cost to support long-term business needs.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience in MRO or IT sourcing, procurement, or a related area.
• Proven experience managing complex sourcing initiatives.
• Strong commercial understanding and experience leading supplier negotiations.
• Solid experience in contract management.
• Strong understanding of MRO or IT operations.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Experience conducting spend analyses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Additional Experience for MRO Sourcing

Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:

• Sourcing of indirect materials and services.
• Manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Collaboration with technical stakeholders within Engineering, Production, Maintenance, or Operations.

Additional Experience for IT Sourcing

Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:

• Sourcing of software, hardware, cloud services, or IT consulting services.
• Negotiation of software licences and SaaS agreements.
• IT supplier ecosystems and commercial models.

Education

A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is advantageous.
