SICPA is seeking, to join our team in Madrid, Spain, for a talented
CENTRAL SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER
Role
As a Central Supply Chain Planner, you will lead the global Supply & Demand planning process, ensuring alignment between commercial demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory strategy, and business objectives.
You will act as a key interface between Global & Local Supply Chain teams, Logistics, Manufacturing and Procurement functions worldwide, supporting product availability, inventory optimization, risk management, and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the monthly global Supply & Demand planning cycle.
- Consolidate and challenge demand forecasts from all regions and business entities.
- Translate demand plans into global supply requirements and production plans.
- Monitor inventory performance and drive corrective actions to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency scenarios.
- Track and report key planning KPIs, supporting data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and inventory management practices.
Profile Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning.
- Experience working in a global and multicultural environment.
- Exposure to multi-site manufacturing and international supply chain operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Fluent English (C1) is a must, French would be consider an asset
