Overview: What's The Role
The Associate Mobile Engineer for Flow Curacao is responsible for configuration, maintenance, management, testing, and upkeep of the telecommunications switches for mobile communication to support the local and international products and services provided by the company. Management of the plan, design, and build of access networks (Fixed & Mobile). In order to be eligible for this position, candidates must have legal right to work in Curacao without company sponsorship or work permit. This role is not eligible for relocation, company sponsorship, or a work permit. Responsibilities: What You'll Do Responsibile for keeping the switching systems operational by:* Assist the mobile team with preparing expansion and modification projects on the switching systems;
- Assist the mobile team with executing acceptance tests and provisioning activities;
- Assist the mobile team with executing acceptance tests in accordance with standards and installation diagrams;
- Establishing procedures for preventive maintenance and measurement of the systems in accordance with the vendor’s specifications, and established SLAs with B2B and B2C departments;
- Providing recommendations for changes to the systems in order to optimize its operations;
- Assist the mobile team with resolving complex failures and supporting the departments;
- Executing (re)configurations in the telecommunications network, maintaining databases, tracking systems, and documenting the equipment;
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly reports regarding the performance of the network and in compliance with the established deadlines by the company:* Creating monthly reports including:
- the activities and irregularities of the period;
- the bottlenecks in implementation and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency;
- statistical data and analysis.
- Providing advice regarding quality assurance and improvement.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Works on shift system based on a given timetable
- Must be available for emergencies outside of working hours.

Qualifications: What You'll Need Preferred Education/Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in the field of ICT or Telecommunication, University degree required or completing University Studies
Knowledge & Experience:* Knowledge of the company’s switching systems, both hardware and software
- Knowledge of network structures and radio transmission
- 1–3 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates will be considered
- Experience in working with Voice Switching Systems as well as strong familiarity of the IP networks
- Knowledge of telecommunications protocols (IMS, MGCP, IP, SIP, SS7, ISDN)
- Experience in successfully organizing highly complex activities to ensure the delivery and deployment of new products/releases
- Knowledge of VoIP technology, including IMS, SS7, SIP, H.323 along with the general telephony knowledge
- Understanding of the IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) and Next-Generation Network (NGN) applications and services
- Understanding of the end-to-end interoperability for IMS and NGN applications and services
- A working knowledge of broadband technologies and IT infrastructure are required, including Linux, Solaris, Windows, relational databases, and routing protocols.
