IT Network Administrator (W/M) New

Your responsibilities

• Administration and supporting firewall platforms (Fortinet FortiGate/FortiManager, Cisco ASA and Cisco Secure Firewall FTD/FMC)
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and capacity utilization
• Troubleshoot incidents, restore services and drive root cause analysis
• Implement approved changes and maintain firmware and configuration backups
• Coordinate vendor support cases, technical escalations and hardware replacement processes
• Maintain operational documentation
• Collaborate with networking, cloud, security, application and local IT teams

Our requirements

• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies and advanced network troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of at least one platform: Fortinet or Cisco; experience with both is a significant advantage
• Very good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, network segmentation, high availability and network security principles
• Experience with monitoring tools, log analysis, backup/restore procedures and configuration management
• Ability to perform technical diagnostics and collaborate with multiple teams and vendors
• Strong communication skills and good English in an international environment
• Team player and self-motivated
• Participate in on-call support rotations and planned maintenance windows
