Maintenance & Reliability Manager

We are now looking for a Maintenance & Reliability Manager to strengthen our operations and drive excellence in maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing environment.
The Opportunity
As Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring robust reliability standards, efficient maintenance processes, and sustainable operational performance. You will lead the development and implementation of maintenance strategies that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support Galderma’s business objectives.
You will work closely with production, engineering, quality, and other specialist functions while building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Strategy & Reliability
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and performance.
- Secure and implement robust reliability standards and ways of working across production equipment.
- Lead and develop Autonomous Maintenance programs in partnership with operations teams.
- Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Maintenance Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation of large and complex industrial equipment.
- Develop and maintain maintenance plans, policies, and processes that support current and future business needs.
- Manage and prioritize maintenance transformation initiatives and process improvements.
- Ensure effective deployment and execution of maintenance activities across the site.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze existing maintenance and reliability processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase equipment reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in maintenance management.
- Optimize spare parts strategies, documentation standards, and asset management processes.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure effective service agreements, outsourced maintenance activities, and spare parts availability.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and specialist departments.
- Understand stakeholder needs and provide expert guidance on maintenance and reliability-related matters.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure risks are identified and mitigated appropriately.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
- Significant experience within maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing operations in a regulated or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance methodologies.
- Proven experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and maintenance service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence, guide, and build trust with managers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in GMP, pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing environments is considered a strong advantage.
