Intact, the world’s leading software solutions provider for the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, is looking for Frontend Engineers to help create a seamless, high-quality experience across our new platform.

For more than 25 years, our software has helped certification bodies, accreditation bodies, and scheme owners digitize complex assurance processes. Now we’re building a modern, domain-driven software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform and transforming how our engineering organization works.

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be part of an autonomous, cross-functional product squad that designs, builds, and operates domain capabilities end to end. You’ll go beyond implementing designs and requirements: you’ll understand customer problems, challenge assumptions, and shape intuitive, scalable solutions together with Product Management, UX, and fellow engineers.

Are you ready?

• Understand customer needs, challenge requirements, and contribute to product discovery and solution design
• Work closely with Product Management, UX, and Product Engineers as equal partners
• Design and develop maintainable, performant, accessible, and secure web applications
• Apply and contribute to shared design systems, UI components, and frontend standards for a consistent experience across domains
• Own frontend quality, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production
• Use AI-assisted tools throughout development, testing, and problem-solving
• Share knowledge, challenge technical decisions constructively, and reduce complexity

Are you the ONE?

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience developing and maintaining modern web applications, preferably in a complex SaaS product environment
• Solid expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including component-based architectures and state management
• Experience with frontend testing, API integration, CI/CD, performance optimization, and accessibility
• Understanding of scalable frontend architectures, reusable component libraries, and design systems
• Practical experience with AI-assisted software engineering and enthusiasm for new tools and practices
• Strong product mindset and attention to user experience
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a sense of ownership for quality and production reliability
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

• Competitive salary: in Austria due to legal requirements from € 55,356 gross per year (full-time), with overpayment based on qualifications and experience; for other locations, in line with local market conditions
