For our location in Lichtenvoorde, the Netherlands , we are looking for an Assembly Mechanic to join one of our assembly teams. Together, these teams form a department of approximately 45 colleagues, where teamwork, craftsmanship and quality are at the heart of everything we do.
As an Assembly Mechanic, you will work on the assembly or refurbishment of innovative machines based on technical drawings and customer specifications. You will play an important role in ensuring the quality of our products!
What you'll be doing!
As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and inspecting machines and/or modules in accordance with our quality and safety standards.
Your key responsibilities
- Assemble modules and complete machines based on technical drawings and work instructions.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery according to agreed schedules and standard assembly times.
- Perform inspections, checks, adjustments and functional tests during and after assembly.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Operate tools safely and responsibly, as well as certified lifting and transport equipment where applicable.
- Participate in work meetings within the assembly team.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, manufacturability and the repeatability of machine assembly.
- Proactively report deviations, malfunctions and suggestions for improvement to the Assembly Team Leader, and collaborate with other departments whenever necessary.
- Perform other activities that contribute to efficient and high-quality assembly.

We are looking for a skilled technician with a passion for technology. Someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has a strong eye for quality and gets energy from building high-quality machines. You are precise, solution-oriented and motivated to contribute to the continuous improvement of our assembly processes.
Your profile
- You have completed an MBO-level technical education , such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with, or an affinity for, assembling mechanical and/or mechatronic modules and machines is an advantage. However, we also warmly encourage recently or soon-to-be graduated technical professionals to apply!
- You are able to read and apply technical drawings in your day-to-day work.
- You work accurately and have a strong eye for quality. You are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
