JOB PURPOSE
The Asset Management Excellence (AME) team drives integrated network performance across AFEMEA by optimizing asset safety, service, quality, and cost. We enable a future-ready manufacturing footprint, aligned with S&OP and demand planning, to deliver superior customer service, product quality, and cost-to-produce.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Financial Results
Accountable for delivering year-over-year cost improvements and driving revenue and profit growth for the business Technology Groups.
Responsible for maximizing business performance by optimizing products and technologies and delivering against annual operating plans and long-term strategic objectives.
Network Asset Utilisation
Monitor opportunity pipelines and network capacity, providing long-term forecasts for the Technology Group to inform market strategies, customer bids and deal strategies, and strategic capital investment decisions.
Evaluate plant and asset performance against peers and move relevant value streams toward best-in-class performance by developing recapitalization strategies and deploying central resources to support best practice teams in process and asset optimization programs across the network.
Lead continuous efforts to optimize AFEMEA’s strongest assets and define restructuring opportunities within the relevant Technology Groups.
Partner with R&D and Product Management to shape the optimized RR asset network and support the transition from non-RR to RR-ready assets, while continuously assessing the project portfolio to maximize value and maintain a balanced portfolio across the network.
Determine product placement across AFEMEA’s manufacturing network.
Develop business plans for major capital investments related to the relevant Technology Groups.
Develop and implement asset management plans that respond to the company’s evolving needs.
Lower the Cost to Produce (CTP)
Lead core specification definition, standardization, and unification across all BNA markets aimed at reducing operational complexity, increasing organizational speed and profit.
Conduct regular reviews of asset utilization and performance to identify opportunities for improvement in the Technology Group.
Working with cross-functional Operations teams to drive down the CTP across the network.
Growth Enablement
Provide the business capacity transparency with a view to relevant Technology groups and network capacity to manufacture.
Facilitate a common approach for developing strategic, multi-generation product plans for each platform of the Technology Group across the network. Determine common capability, capacity, or operational constraints across AFEMEA.
Develop and lead strategies to operationalize innovation platform introductions which are common to multiple business segments (e.g., sustainable platforms) which maximize AFEMEA’s growth and profit potential. Prioritizing segments where necessary.
Lead competitive operation benchmarking of capability, quality, service, and cost. Build generational strategies to close gaps or extend lead for relevant the relevant Technology Group.
Monitor trends in the asset management industry and keep abreast of new technologies and approaches that could be employed by the company.
Managing investments through cerg process ensuring maximization of Amcor spend.
Manage network allocation to ensure products are assigned to the most appropriate assets and lowest cost-to-produce locations, in line with the manufacturing strategy.
Support global/ regional projects related to asset-capability map, footprint options and asset lifecycle planning. Coordinate with global teams to harmonize definitions, standards, classification and modelling assumptions across regions to ensure comparable assets insights.
Partner with other functions in Operations, Finance and IT to scope, prioritize and deliver initiatives that improve safety, service, quality and cost (e.g., footprint optimization, automation and digital asset capability development, growth investments, etc.).
Contribute to network master planning, AM Major Maintenance Reserve (MMR) processes and annual budget preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications and Experience
University degree in Engineering or a related field with ability to understand Finance and product costing.
Minimum 3years’ experience in program/project management, admin, will be desirable
Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferably a strong knowledge of Packaging business or related industries such as consumer goods or process industries
Fluent English and at least one other major European language is desirable
Strong ability and experience to manage in a cross-cultural environment
Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization and at different levels of the organization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent optimism, motivation and collaboration skills and an ability to work effectively in a team, being a strong contributor and hands on

MS Office (Excel with VBA and PowerPoint), Power BI
SFDC, Mills, SAP will be desirable
