Profesor Inglés Extraescolar en Santander, Cantabria.

We are currently hiring a young learners teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. The position is part-time and the majority of teaching hours will involve working with children aged 4 to 16. There are also some adult classes, which may be General English or Exam Preparation. Aprox. timetable will be Mon-Thu 14h to 19h.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who create fun, engaging classes that get students speaking in English. The ideal candidate would have experience teaching children and a genuine interest in working with this age group.

Training is provided at the start of the course, with professional development sessions throughout the year. There are numerous opportunities for teachers to develop their skills with Cambridge exam preparation, including YL exams.

Teachers have access to a wide variety of resources (text and reference books, multimedia material, flashcards, arts and crafts supplies, toys and games etc) as well as digital boards and whiteboards in every classroom. Although we have a specific program and objectives in place, teachers are encouraged to contribute their own ideas and material. In this way, teachers have the freedom to develop lessons according to their unique teaching style and the individual needs of their students. Our staff room environment is collaborative and our teachers often look to each other for ideas and support.

Desirable Requirements

Native speaker competence (C2)

Teaching experience with young learners

Permission to work in the EU

International Child Protection Certificate

Valued:

A recognised TEFL qualification

A university degree
