Overview: What's The Role

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for the continuity of FLOW Curacao business operations by ensuring assessment, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of safety and security systems, company information and data. Responsibilities: What You'lll Do* The Safety and Security Officer is accountable to the Manager Corporate and Facility Services regarding the development and implementation of the safety and business continuity policies. He/she is also responsible for the proper functioning of the security systems and the safety and security of company information and data.

• The Safety and Security Officer works within the framework set out in the policy guidelines.
• The Safety and Security Officer decides independently on the implementation of safety and business continuity policies and the methodologies for analysis and assessment, as well as on the maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems and the methods of investigations and assessments.

Qualifications: What You'll Need Knowledge and skills* HBO degree

• 2-3 years of experience in similar position
• Additional diplomas and certificates in the field of safety and security is a prerequisite
• Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Management, business security and surveillance
• Knowledge of Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, data and property
• Knowledge of electronic security systems
• Ability to carry out and maintain emergency response plan
• Problem sensitivity: the ability to sense when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
• Speed of closure: the ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful data or patterns
