Innovation Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Innovation Project Manager in our Innovation Department, you will drive automation, robotics, digitalization, and AI initiatives that improve how we manufacture offshore wind turbine blades. You will lead projects from early concept and pilot testing through validation and demonstration, preparing technologies for handover toward industrialization and factory implementation.

Your day will involve aligning with engineering teams, production, and internal and external stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, support decisions, and maintain momentum across projects. Typical projects may include robotic solutions for blade manufacturing, digitalization initiatives for data visibility, or AI-supported solutions for quality inspection and process optimization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive delivery of robotics, automation, digitalization, and AI projects from idea to validated pilot and demonstration.
• Ensure clear project scope, priorities, timelines, and resource alignment across teams
• Identify and manage risks early, enabling timely decisions and avoiding delays during validation, demonstration, and handover toward industrialization
• Enable effective collaboration across engineering disciplines and stakeholders through structured planning and communication
• Ensure innovation projects deliver measurable impact and create a strong basis for future improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and production stability

• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and evolving scope, combined with a structured and proactive approach to risk management, planning, and decision-making.
• Practical, hands-on mindset and the ability to work close to production teams, translating technical opportunities into solutions that can succeed on the shop floor.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment and maintain momentum in dynamic environments.

The team combines expertise in robotics, tooling, software, system integration, production technology, and project management.
