The Team
A&M Digital and Technology Services EMEA is a dynamic, fast-growing practice combining IT M&A advisory, Data and AI consulting, and digitally enabled performance improvement and transformation for private equity and corporate clients. We have evolved digital into a proposition built on a deep technology foundation, data and analytics, customer and workforce experience, digital strategy, sales and marketing, and new digital business models—strongly complementing A&M’s turnaround and results-driven heritage. We help transform performance for companies facing, or at risk of, digital disruption and provide practical guidance on how every aspect of a business can be digitally enabled sustainably and at scale.
Within the Business Technology pillar, we partner with Private Equity funds, Corporates, and Financial Services clients across Europe and internationally to:
- Conduct effective technology and product due diligence pre-deal.
- Support integration and separation throughout the deal lifecycle through TSA exit.
- Create value in PE portfolio companies by improving performance and output while reducing costs.
We frequently collaborate across multiple disciplines and coordinate closely with other A&M practices, including Private Equity Performance Improvement, Corporate Transactions, Restructuring, and Financial Due Diligence.
How you will contribute
- Lead and deliver major IT due diligence engagements (pre- and post-deal), often in client-site-focused delivery models, to drive clear investment theses and risk assessments.
- Shape integration and separation programs, including identifying IT synergies, outsourcing opportunities, cost drivers, Day 1 technology models, cutover plans, and 100-day value creation plans.
- Serve as a hands-on delivery leader who frames issues, structures analyses, and synthesizes conclusions; on larger projects, guide junior team members; on smaller assignments, independently cover entire subject areas.
- Partner with cross-functional A&M teams to bring end-to-end solutions across deals, transformation, and performance improvement.
- Apply strong business technology expertise to assess IT operating models, product and platform health, vendor ecosystems, and cost trajectories; produce actionable insights and executive-ready materials.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders; present findings clearly and concisely to boards, investment committees, and C-suite leaders.
- Contribute to practice development, including methodology enhancement, knowledge assets, AI-enabled delivery accelerators, and business development initiatives.
- Role-model A&M’s core values—integrity, quality, objectivity, inclusive diversity, fun, and personal reward—in every engagement.
