Team Lead Powertrain Calibration (m/f/d)
In this key leadership role, you will lead an international team of highly skilled calibration specialists, guiding both technical development and team growth. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful development of complex calibration solutions while continuously driving improvements in processes, methodologies, and engineering standards:
Coach, mentor, and develop a global, cross-departmental powertrain calibration team
Oversee resource allocation and prioritization across a diverse portfolio of development initiatives
Monitor calibration progress and ensure alignment with development milestones
Lead the development and continuous enhancement of calibration processes and engineering methodologies
Drive the definition and implementation of new control and calibration functionalities that address customer requirements and enhance product performance
Ensure the timely delivery and quality of calibration solutions from prototype to serial production
Manage budgets, resources, and technical priorities effectively
Your skills and experiences
Proven track record in the automotive, powersports, motorsports or commercial vehicle industry
Comprehensive technical expertise in calibration, powertrain, and vehicle development
Deep understanding of internal combustion engine development, powertrain or vehicle control systems, and calibration methodologies
Experience in leading technical experts and high-performing engineering teams
Strong capability in managing resources, budgets, and complex cross-functional development programs
A collaborative and empowering leadership style combined with clear guidance, accountability, and a passion for developing people
Fluent English communication skills; German is an advantage and French is considered a plus
We offer
You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 66,741.01 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
