What you will do:

The Role’s Key Responsibilities

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a IT Project Management Team Lead role we are looking for in theSRG team you will be in charge of:

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of IT Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of their projects while fostering professional development and team growth through tailored coaching and performance management.
• Value & Impact: Proactively drive business value and measurable impact by aligning project outcomes with corporate strategic goals and optimizing delivery processes.
• Resource & Dependency Management: Facilitate cross-team resource allocation and manage critical dependencies between IT teams, business units, and product stakeholders.
• Process Excellence: Standardize and evolve project management methodologies, processes, and KPIs across the department to ensure a best-in-class approach.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with the Transformation Director on strategic initiatives, reporting on portfolio health, and identifying opportunities for organizational improvement.
• Governance: Act as a senior point of escalation for project stakeholders, ensuring that governance structures are effective and project sponsors remain engaged.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of the organizational context of eDreams ODIGEO, teaching best practices to the wider organization.
• Hands-on Project Delivery: Personally lead 1-2 high-stakes, strategic technology projects, serving as a model for project management excellence and tackling complex cross-functional challenges.

What you need to succeed:

• At least 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects.
• Direct Management Experience: Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and developing a team of project management professionals.
• Strategic Oversight: Ability to manage a portfolio of projects and think strategically about departmental goals and change management.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a “driver” mentality and a hands-on approach to leadership.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with senior management and executive stakeholders.
• High energy level and an outspoken, proactive leadership style.
• Business Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini, or other AI-powered assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into workflows.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
