Your contribution to TenneT
Within the Grid Security Applications team, we develop and maintain the security analysis capabilities that support reliable and cost-effective operation of the Dutch electricity system. Our work ensures that TenneT’s planning and operational processes are based on accurate, robust and operationally relevant analyses.
Security analysis is at the heart of almost every planning and operational process: from outage planning, adequacy studies and transport capacity calculations to real-time operations. As the electricity system becomes increasingly complex, developing and maintaining high-quality security analysis capabilities is more important than ever.
Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA) determines whether the power system remains stable over time following disturbances. It enables operators to identify and mitigate stability risks before they materialize. DSA is a new capability in the operational timeframe within TenneT, currently in active development and is scheduled to become operational in 2027. As a Dynamic Security Assessment Specialist, you will join the Grid Security Applications team, a growing team of highly skilled and motivated specialists.
