Salary: $32.00 – $40.00 CAD / hour (or $65,000 – $80,000 CAD / year)
About the Role
We are looking for an analytical, detail-driven Data Analyst to turn complex datasets into actionable business insights. In this role, you will analyze operational and transactional data, build automated reporting pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate structured and unstructured data from internal databases, CRM platforms, and payment/operational logs.
- Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and KPI reports using modern BI tools.
- Identify transaction patterns, anomalies, and operational performance trends to support management reporting.
- Write optimized SQL queries to extract data and streamline recurring reporting workflows.
- Partner with department leads to translate business requirements into technical analysis and clear visual summaries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operational reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).
- Solid foundation in data cleansing, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Nice to have: Basic scripting experience with Python (Pandas) or R for automated data extraction.
