Bring your project leadership expertise to the heart of our Product & Marketing Development, where you'll drive exciting novelty projects from concept to market launch, balancing business ambitions, innovation, and value chain excellence across a global stakeholder landscape.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead novelty projects from idea to launch, partnering closely with Franchise Leadership Teams to define and deliver business goals through an end-to-end value chain perspective
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to i.e. Creative Leads, Business & Marketing Leads, and Heads of Consumer Group, Passion, or Franchise
  • Provide strong, adaptable leadership and serve as a steady guiding force for project teams navigating change and uncertainty
  • Drive strategy deployment, feasibility assessments, resource planning, budget management, project governance, and progress tracking
  • Lead risk management efforts across desirability, feasibility, and viability dimensions, ensuring effective mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle
  • Own quality management activities and play a key role in managing project complexity
  • Optimize ways of working, processes, and cross-functional collaboration to improve project effectiveness and execution
  • Foster high levels of engagement, motivation, and satisfaction within project teams, creating an environment where people can perform at their best

Product & Marketing Development (PMD) sits at the heart of the LEGO Group, creating the products and experiences that inspire children around the world. This role is part of the Project Management & Portfolio Enabling (PMPE) organization, a team dedicated to enabling Business and Innovation through operational excellence and strong project leadership.

As a Senior Project Leader, you will play a pivotal role in bringing innovative products to life. Through your end-to-end understanding of the value chain and your ability to align diverse stakeholders, you will help balance business ambitions with operational effectiveness, ensuring successful project delivery from concept to launch.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience leading large-scale or complex projects in a project management capacity
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complexity and change
  • Extensive professional experience within project management, operations, planning, procurement, supply chain, or related disciplines
  • Educational background in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to engage at all organizational levels
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and confidently lead teams forward during periods of uncertainty
  • Resilient mindset with a demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks and find alternative pathways to achieve objectives
  • Understanding of supply chain management, operations, planning, or procurement
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
