Description

We're looking for someone who brings a growth mindset and a drive to innovate, continuously learning new technologies and improving how we build software to deliver better outcomes for developers and customers. As a Java Software Engineer, you will lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of the Frameworks team's software using the Java programming language. You’ll collaborate with other developers, product owners and clients to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions in an AWS Cloud solution environment.### A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Maintain and enhance Landmark Java Framework software
• Code and test Java software
• Mentoring and code review
• Driving technical decisions that balance performance, stability, and maintainability
• Triage and prioritize issues independently
• Debug complex issues and code involving multiple stakeholders and technologies
• Development Processes (Daily Team Collaboration, Planning, Backlog Refinement, Demos)
• Deliver long-term solutions that result in improved developer and customer experience and productivity

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience implementing Java-based solutions in complex and high-volume business environments that deliver long-term solutions that enhance developer productivity and software quality
• Java programming principles including test-driven development and debugging experience
• Experience leveraging Java to build reliable, scalable, and efficient systems that support extensive business processes and financial operations
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs / service-oriented or microservice architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems architecture and financial software functionalities
• Sumo, Splunk Query and Dashboard experience
• Git, Jira, and Confluence experience
• Landmark Pattern Language (LPL) experience
• Scripting experience utilizing perl, python, bash, groovy, go
• Database (SQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL) knowledge
• AWS services (S3, EC2, EBS)
• Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite Landmark-based products
