About the role

You will work within a dynamic team to capture and sell the moments that define a guest's cruise vacation. This is a fast-paced environment where you manage the balance between behind-the-lens creativity and high-pressure retail sales. You are the face of the photo department, responsible for maintaining high energy and delivering a premium service that encourages guests to take their memories home.

What the reality of this position looks like:

• Engaging guests in the photo gallery, managing digital kiosks, and using effective sales techniques to ensure guests select and purchase their photo packages.
• Executing professional photography shoots across various onboard and ashore settings, from portrait studios to wedding events, while managing image editing and tagging guest files accurately.
• Maintaining consistent performance during long, 7-day work weeks, which includes wearing mascot costumes for guest entertainment and keeping a calm, upbeat attitude in a high-traffic environment.

Essential attributes and qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a customer service or retail role AND at least 6 months of professional photography experience (or a cruise-specific photography certification).
• Technical & systems: Proficiency with digital SLR cameras, studio lighting, image editing software, and point-of-sale (POS) systems; intermediate to advanced English skills.
• Core traits: High energy, resilience in a fast-paced environment, tactful communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality and guest engagement.
