Sourcing Specialist II (m/f)

The Polaris Polska plant in Opole is the only facility outside of America producing innovative Polaris off-road vehicles. Our modern, state-of-the-art factory produces finished all-terrain vehicles (SPOTSMAN, SCRAMBLER, ACE) and side-by-side vehicles (RZR, RANGER, GENERAL). We are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist II who will be responsible for market analysis, identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to implement new Polaris projects and production, ensuring optimal conditions for quality, delivery, cost, and the technological capabilities of potential suppliers.

Twój zakres obowiązków:* Creating and implementing a purchasing strategy for subordinate material groups – both for new projects and supporting ongoing operations.

• Searching for, identifying, and selecting appropriate suppliers in a given area of expertise – also supporting supplier performance analysis and quality assurance.

• Coordinating and implementing cost-saving projects for subordinate material groups.

• Preparing and obtaining requests for proposals. Negotiating terms with suppliers

• Conducting cost analyses for new projects and monitoring operating costs for subordinate material groups

• Coordinating and managing supplier relationships - continuous improvement and change management

• Assisting in resolving issues related to parts shortages and deliveries when necessary

• Working in an intensive and cross-functional environment - daily contact and collaboration with suppliers, individual departments, and project teams

Nasze wymagania:* Higher education (fields related to purchasing, logistics, production management, etc. preferred)

• Experience in purchasing/logistics - 3 years as min.

• Ability to work with and interpret engineering documentation and technical data

• Effective communication, negotiation skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Very good English (minimum B2) - required

• Highly developed organizational skills and project management skills

• Knowledge of MAPICS MRP systems - preferred
