YOUR ROLE

At our location in Tilburg, we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Supervisor. In this versatile role as Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will coordinate a team of Warehouse Operators and ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You will be clearly visible on the work floor, leading the team with a hands-on mentality while monitoring progress and productivity. You’ll make sure processes are carried out according to plan, identifying problems and keeping a clear overview. As someone familiar with logistics processes, you’ll be immediately up and running, applying the LEAN philosophy to drive continuous improvement. With a flexible mindset, you’ll adapt to shifting workdays and report to the Process Supervisor at our Nokia site in Tilburg.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You coordinate, guide, motivate and enthuse your team of approximately 20-25 Operators and Flex workers;

You identify and solve problems in the workplace;

You also prepare for an efficient execution of the work within your sub-process;

You inform and, in consultation with your supervisor, you pick up process improvements;

You report the progress of the work to your supervisor.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have demonstrable work experience in a logistics working environment;

Decisiveness, orderliness and understanding are keywords that apply to you;

You have a solid level of English, both spoken and written.

Because public transport opportunities are limited to and from our warehouse, having your own transportation is mandatory;

You are available full-time and can work in (day)shifts.

Also good to know:

You will receive a monthly salary between € 2.720,26 and €3.521,43 and 8% holiday pay (grading depending on your work experience and education level);

You will start with a one-year contract and then get the prospect of permanent employment;

Working conditions in accordance with our CEVA CLA including 25 holidays and 5 ADV days;

Profit distribution of up to 3% in the event of positive operating results and a good pension scheme;

Travel allowance or NS Business Card;
