Lead Buyer

Currently for our international client’s company operating within yachting branch we search for candidates to join the Tricity unit on Lead Buyer position.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a 4-person purchasing team.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms and framework agreements with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new suppliers in Poland and abroad.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Analyze offers and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
• Monitor purchasing activities, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
• Resolve purchasing issues and proactively look for alternative solutions.
• Cooperate closely with Production, Design Engineering and other departments.
• Support the recruitment of new team members.

Our requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing, technical or industrial environment.
• Experience in coordinating or managing a team.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
• Independence, decision-making ability and a solution-oriented approach.
• Good working knowledge of English.

Optional

• Experience in purchasing within a project-based business.
• Technical or industrial background and knowledge of the supplier market.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with Odoo or another ERP system.
