Business Process Owner – HubSpot Marketing & Sales
Leaseweb · Amsterdam-Zuidoost, Netherlands
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
As part of Leaseweb’s Business Process Owner (BPO) team, you’ll own and manage key end-to-end processes across our global Marketing and Sales organization, driving standardization and continuous improvement.
What is the role about?
As Business Process Owner for Marketing & Sales, you’ll set the direction for the processes supported by HubSpot and manage their development over time.
You’ll set priorities, manage the roadmap and backlog, translate business needs into clear requirements, and work with business and technology teams to deliver improvements. You’ll define process standards, align stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across processes, data, automation, and system capabilities.
A key part of the role is shaping and developing the HubSpot environment across Marketing and Sales, covering process design, data model, lifecycle management, lead management, automation, reporting, integrations, and governance.
We work in two-week sprints with short delivery cycles and close collaboration between business and technology teams.
This is not a HubSpot administrator role. Strong hands-on HubSpot experience is important to understand platform capabilities and limitations, challenge solution designs, and make the right business and process decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end business setup and implementation of the new HubSpot Marketing & Sales environment.
- Define scalable marketing and sales processes, including lifecycle stages, lead management, qualification, routing, pipeline management, and handovers.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and HubSpot solution designs.
- Define the HubSpot data model, properties, segmentation, automation, reporting, permissions, and governance standards.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, IT, implementation partners, and other business teams throughout delivery cycles.
- Drive data migration, integrations, testing, and validation together with technical teams and key users.
- Ensure privacy, consent management, data quality, and governance requirements are embedded in the HubSpot setup.
- Support rollout, adoption, training, and continuous improvement across global marketing and sales teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, sales operations, business process ownership, or related commercial technology environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HubSpot, ideally across Marketing Hub and Sales Hub, including experience setting up or significantly redesigning a HubSpot environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes, including lead generation, lifecycle management, lead qualification, routing, opportunity pipelines, and marketing-to-sales handovers.
- Experience with CRM data models, workflow automation, segmentation, reporting, dashboards, permissions, and data governance.
- Experience defining business requirements and working closely with business, implementation, and development teams.
- Experience with data migration and integrations between HubSpot and other enterprise systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align Marketing, Sales, IT, and other teams and drive decisions across domains.
- Experience working in global environments with multiple marketing and sales organizations and stakeholders.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential for this role.
- Comfortable taking ownership and building a new environment in a fast-moving organization.
