As we continue to expand our portfolio and financing activities, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Investment Specialist to lead and execute complex financing transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

- Lead the structuring and execution of project financings, refinancings, acquisition financings and capital raisings for biomethane assets and corporate needs.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated project finance models.
- Prepare and review financing term sheets, information memoranda, lender presentations and investment committee materials.
- Coordinate lenders, investors, legal counsel, technical advisers, insurance advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
- Lead financial due diligence processes and support negotiations of financing documentation.
- Mentor junior team members. Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project and/ or Infrastructure finance, Corporate finance advisory, or, Infrastructure private equity or debt funds.
- Transaction track record with demonstrable experience leading financings from structuring through financial close.
- Experience engaging with commercial banks, development finance institutions, private credit providers, infrastructure funds and institutional investors.
- Good understanding of project finance documentation, risk allocation and financing structures.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of financings, including tracking and fulfillment of milestones and covenants, managing of drawdowns, reporting’s, etc.
- Fluency in English (which is Biogest internal communication language)
Financial Modelling Expertise
We are specifically seeking candidates with best-in-class financial modelling capabilities. You should demonstrate expert-level Excel and modelling as follows:
- Ability to build and audit fully integrated project finance models from first principles.
- Experience modelling complex debt structures, refinancing scenarios, reserve accounts, sensitivities, covenant calculations and downside cases.
- Good understanding of valuation methodologies.
- Ability to explain complex modelling outputs clearly to stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in biomethane, or broader renewable energy sectors.
- Experience with private Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), corporate offtake agreements, commodity-linked contracts or energy marketing arrangements.

The salary for this position starts at EUR 60,000 gross per annum, which is above the applicable collective agreement.
