Your Mission

Are you a mechanical, simulation, or software engineer with strong product instincts? Do you want to shape what gets built, not just how it gets built? Do you want to shape a product used by engineering teams at BMW, ZF, Siemens, and others?

At Dive, we are building a cloud-native, agent-native simulation platform that makes advanced heat and fluid simulation accessible to every mechanical engineer. As Product Manager, you will own the product direction for our web platform: speaking with engineers at our customers, identifying the most important problems to solve, shaping workflows and user experience, and driving releases together with the Web team.

You will work closely with the CTPO, who has led product so far, and with our two engineering leads. But this is not a backlog-grooming role. The product decisions become yours.

Your Responsibilities

Own product initiatives for the Dive platform, from discovery through release, with the web team as your main engineering counterpart. Examples of upcoming initiatives include enhancing our postprocessor for detailed, agent-friendly analysis; advancing fluid and solid raytracing for high-quality videos and deeper fluid insights; and further integrating our MPX solver technology into the web stack while staying true to our product philosophy: one unified multiphysics, cloud-native platform where complex physics can be coupled seamlessly and engineers can focus on the important part: gaining insights.

  • Discover and prioritize

Build a deep understanding of customer workflows by regularly speaking with simulation engineers, R&D leads, customer success, and sales.

  • Define the product
    • Translate customer needs and technical constraints into priorities, product decisions, PRDs, acceptance criteria, and clear workflow concepts.
    • Create wireframes, mockups, and interaction sketches that communicate intent clearly. Polished visual design is less important than precise thinking.
  • Ship and learn

Drive product readiness for releases: Collaborate with engineering, communicate updates, validate quality, enable internal teams, and measure adoption.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, CFD, applied physics, or a closely related field. This is non-negotiable: most of what we build requires you to understand the physics and the simulation workflow.
  • 3+ years of professional experiencein some combination of:
    • Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)
    • Software engineering (ideally on a technical or engineering product)
    • Product management on a technical product
  • Design-minded. You can produce wireframes and mockups that communicate intent clearly. You don't need to be a designer, but you need an eye for how engineers will actually use what you spec.
  • Comfortable talking to demanding engineering audiences. Our users are R&D leads at OEMs, they expect technical credibility.
  • Strong written communication. PRDs, release notes, customer comms.
  • German is a soft plus, as we have many customers in the DACH region.

We know that great candidates don't always meet every requirement. If you're excited about the opportunity and believe you can make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.#### Our Offer
