As Area Sales Manager (Ukraine), this is a unique opportunity to build and expand our Ukrainian market from the ground up.

The journey begins at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Hapert, strategically located right next to the A67 highway. Before taking full control, immersion in Ivo’s sales team ensures a thorough understanding of our products, vision, and international market dynamics. Ready for the next step? What are you going to do?

Driving our success in Ukraine requires combining commercial opportunities with a solid dose of practical barn hygiene knowledge. A typical workweek involves:

• Training & immersion: Picking up the phone for daily customer calls from Hapert provides exactly the right insights into how we support farmers worldwide in keeping their animals healthy.
• Building networks & partnerships: Scouting the Ukrainian market for the right dealers leads to meaningful conversations about product application and hygiene management. The goal is building long-term collaborations rather than scoring quick, one-off orders.
• Determining market strategy: Precision is key. Collaborating with the Export Manager determines exactly which focus products the Ukrainian market needs, while calculating margins, driving a healthy ROI, and launching targeted sales campaigns.
• Acting as the hygiene expert: Traveling to trade fairs requires confidently approaching potential partners and demonstrating perseverance during long sales cycles. Showcasing how better hygiene leads to lower mortality rates, higher efficiency, and more sustainable farming is essential for the Ukrainian agricultural sector. What we are looking for?

Understanding that the agricultural world revolves around dedication means effortlessly switching between tough price negotiations and in-depth discussions about farm hygiene. Specifically, we are looking for the following:

• Fluency in Ukrainian and a perfect understanding of the local culture (e.g., having Ukrainian roots) is combined with current residency in the Netherlands.
• Stepping onto a farm feels natural. Deep knowledge of the pig or poultry farming industry makes it easy to discuss daily barn operations.
• Commercial drive: You have strong social skills, connect easily, and get energized by convincing customers.
• Rolling up the sleeves, working hard, and adapting quickly are second nature; resting is not an option until MS Schippers is a household name in Ukraine. What we offer?
