Medior Control Framework Specialist – Credit Risk
Role overview
We are looking for Medior Control Framework Specialists to support the delivery of a Credit Risk Operational Control Framework (OCF) and its key controls within agreed timelines and in line with an approved OCF methodology, defined Credit Risk value-chain scope and reference controls.
The initial OCF design is targeted for end of October 2026, enabling implementation and execution from 2027, in line with applicable regulatory expectations.
The external resources will report to the Lead of Credit Risk Control and work closely with the internal Risk Control team, relevant 1st Line colleagues and 2nd Line Credit Risk Control stakeholders across the Credit Risk value chain. The external resource will operate as an integrated member of the delivery team.
Key responsibilities / expected results
- Deliver the Credit Risk OCF key control set, applying the agreed OCF methodology, scope and reference controls in close cooperation with the 2nd Line Credit Risk Control team.
- Identify and assess existing key controls, close control gaps and ensure complete and accurate capture in the control register.
- Manage the review, challenge and approval cycle for OCF deliverables, including incorporating feedback and coordinating required sign-offs.
- Prepare the implementation approach and communication materials to support internal alignment and adoption.
- Work collaboratively across 1st Line and 2nd Line functions, translating control-framework methodology into practical and implementable controls.
Relevant knowledge, skills & experience
The ideal candidate has:
- Hands-on experience with Operational Control Frameworks and process/data control design within a financial services environment.
