About the role
As Operational Excellence Director, you will shape and drive the future operating model of Prodrive Technologies. You will be responsible for establishing a globally aligned way of working across our production sites in the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States and China.
This is a highly strategic leadership role with the opportunity to influence company-wide decisions, define the long-term Operational Excellence roadmap, and build the capabilities needed to support rapid growth and operational scalability.
A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and exceptional execution capability, able to translate business objectives into operational results through effective cross-functional leadership.
You will lead a global organization consisting of Production Engineering, Global Process Owners and Operational Excellence Leads, driving standardization, continuous improvement, governance and process adherence across all manufacturing and support processes.
Main goal
Build a globally scalable operational excellence system that enables Prodrive Technologies to deliver industry-leading performance in quality, delivery, productivity and operational agility.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and execute the global Operational Excellence strategy aligned with the company growth ambitions.
- Establish and continuously improve the company-wide operating model, processes, governance and performance management system.
- Drive global standardization across manufacturing sites while balancing local business needs.
- Lead enterprise-wide improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, efficiency, scalability and operational performance.
- Ensure adoption, compliance and continuous enhancement of global process standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing international team of Production Engineers, Global Process Owners and Operational Excellence Leads.
- Act as strategic advisor to the COO and executive leadership team on operational performance and transformation opportunities.
- Shape the future direction of Operational Excellence, including capabilities development, training and continuous learning across the organization.

- Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- Extensive leadership experience in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, Business Transformation or Operations.
- Proven experience leading (global) teams and large-scale transformation programs in an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and process management methodologies.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across organizational boundaries.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and strong execution capability.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth and entrepreneurial environment.
- Independent, self-starting and capable of creating structure and direction where none exists yet.
