Lead PLM Architect
Grundfos Pumps · Bjerringbro, Denmark
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Are you passionate about shaping the digital thread that connects product design, manufacturing, service and sustainability? Join us as we pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption and improving quality of life.
As our new Lead PLM Architect, you will design, govern and evolve PLM architecture, data products and digital thread capabilities across the full product lifecycle — from concept to manufacturing, service and commercialization. You will bridge business strategy and technology to deliver measurable value in a diverse, inclusive culture where people come first.
What you will be doing
In the Global PLM & Data Management team, you will drive architectural decisions that reduce complexity, increase standardization and enable analytics, AI, compliance and sustainability use cases.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Own and evolve PLM, product data and digital thread architecture in line with enterprise IT strategy, the GPLM roadmap and business priorities
- Translate business needs into scalable PLM capabilities across applications, data, integrations and processes
- Define and govern PLM data products using Data Mesh principles, ensuring ownership, discoverability and interoperability
- Guide architecture for product structures, metadata models, standards and integrations with CAD, ERP, MES and other systems
- Act as a strategic link between product development, manufacturing, supply chain, service, sustainability, IT and PLM partners
What makes you a great fit
You are a systems thinker and architectural leader with deep PLM expertise, strong business acumen and the ability to simplify complexity across stakeholders. We also imagine that you have:
- A master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or similar — or equivalent experience
- 7–10+ years’ experience with PLM platforms, enterprise architecture or digital transformation
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into PLM architecture, data models, integrations and solution designs
- Experience with data products, Data Mesh concepts, metadata management and product data governance
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience from a large manufacturing environment across supply chain, service or sustainability
- Familiarity with cloud strategies, API-first architectures and enterprise data platforms
- A track record of leading change adoption and improving data quality and system usability
Why you will love working here
Here, you can look forward to:
- Flexible working hours, home working opportunities and parental support
- Annual bonuses, health insurance and well-being activities
- Three additional paid days for volunteering
- Training and structured programmes for personal and professional development
We are inclusive and welcome applications from all abilities, experiences and backgrounds.
