Your Task
As an Engineer you will develop and enhance the T Cloud Public platform in a customer-oriented manner, working with the latest developments in cloud and container technology.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend
- Work hardware-oriented at the console and get your hands "dirty"
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance systems
- Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
- Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced Engineer with extensive expertise in cloud and container technologies, strong Linux and network security background, and proven experience in infrastructure automation and IT operations.
Must Have Skills
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
- 7 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies
- Very good knowledge of software defined networks
- Very good knowledge of routing
- Very good knowledge of firewalls
- Very good knowledge of IDS/IPS
- Very good knowledge of Anti-DDoS
- Very good knowledge of WAF
- Very good knowledge of physical networks
- Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation
- Strong experience in Linux and network related services
- Strong experience in IT-Security
- High level of customer focus
- Knowledge of agile development processes
- Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Nice to Have Skills
- OpenStack experience
- Programming experience in open source projects
