The Role
As a Dev Manager your primary responsibility is to ensure that our developers are happy, motivated, engaged, and achieving our shared goals. You will oversee and empower our talented developers to ensure that they are well equipped to contribute to technical excellence and participate in the collaborative nature of game development. You'll work closely with a variety of stakeholders including developers, product managers, and designers to help your team members to deliver innovative gaming experiences.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension.
What You'll Do (in short):
- Mentor and coach developers to foster their professional growth, enhance engagement and align your team with company goals.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions, set individual development plans, manage salaries and handle staff related challenges to maintain a high performing team
- Oversee team dynamics, address challenges, celebrate successes, to be able to drive strategic and operational improvements.
- Ensure teams have the right skills and talent by actively recruiting top candidates as well as aligning current resources.
- Drive technical OKRs by managing projects and collaborate with tech leads and other stakeholders to enhance platforms and roadmaps.

- Experience in leading and managing developers (10+ people) with a focus on motivation, engagement, and growth.
- Experience in recruiting and staffing technical talent, including creating job ads, sourcing candidates, and managing interview processes.
- Experience in people management such as conducting feedback sessions, salary reviews, and conducting personal development plans, ensuring team members feel supported and valued.
- Familiarity with modern development practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
