The impact you will make as a SaaS Support Engineer

As a Performance Engineer within our Pension & Wealth division, you are part of the testing team supporting the Scrum teams in performance testing. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the quality of our EuroPort+ application. Your role is key, not only in designing and executing performance tests but also in fostering a quality-driven mindset within the teams.

What you will do as a Performance Engineer

You are proactive, communicative, and full of ideas. You work in an Agile environment, contributing throughout the development process to ensure the highest quality.

You are responsible for:

• Assessing software performance and identifying optimisation opportunities
• Executing and automating performance test scenarios (using tools such as JMeter)
• Reporting on risks and results
• Maintaining and improving existing test sets
• Collaborating with other testers and sharing best practices

What you bring as a Performance Engineer

Your ambition and eagerness to learn are most important to us. To be successful, you bring a solid foundation of knowledge and experience:

• Familiarity with testing methodologies such as TMap and/or ISTQB
• Understanding of web services (SOAP & REST)
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Unix and affinity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Delivery)
• Experience with tools such as ReadyAPI, Jira, Git, JMeter, and Jenkins
