About the role
The Commercial Strategy and Performance team acts as the strategic engine for our business. We look ahead to define where we go tomorrow, connecting insights and building opportunities that keep us ahead of the market. You will serve as a close thought partner to the Senior Director, shaping how our business thinks about the future.
Your work directly drives our commercial growth agenda across Europe. By connecting regional, product, pricing, and channel teams, you will turn strategic ideas into real investment decisions. You will ensure our future choices are ambitious, commercially sound, and built to create a lasting positive impact.
How you embrace curiosity daily
- Own the integrated commercial plan to align regional, product, pricing, and channel teams
- Identify new growth opportunities across our categories, markets, and platforms
- Build evidence based business cases that clearly show investment needs and expected returns
- Stress test growth opportunities rigorously before making final recommendations to leadership
- Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning processes for the team
- Create analytical frameworks to evaluate complex scenario models and return on investment
- Translate strategic thinking into clear narratives and materials for board level audiences
How you make your mark
- Define where the business goes tomorrow by building a prioritised growth agenda
- Shape major investment choices through data, clear strategic framing, and solid evidence
- Facilitate cross functional buy in for strategic priorities across different international hubs
- Partner with performance and finance teams to turn growth priorities into actionable budgets
- Build scalable planning tools and templates to help our strategy function grow
- Conduct deep dive analyses on key commercial questions to validate new growth hypotheses
What you bring to the team
- Six to eight years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, or consulting
- Background working in a B2C ecommerce or consumer retail business
- Proven track record of creating growth cases that guided major investment choices
- Strong structured thinking skills with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous questions
- Hands on experience with financial modelling, scenario planning, and business case creation
- Fluent written and spoken English with the confidence to influence without direct authority
What sets you apart
- Education in business, economics, or strategy
- Experience in pan European businesses or working with OKR frameworks
- Additional European language skills
