Our mission in Sports Marketing is to seek, sign and serve athletes better. As part of this mission we are looking for the next big talent in our Athlete Development team who will help us create the next era of Sports Marketing by reimagining how we serve and develop the athlete.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As Senior Manager, Athlete Development, Running (Grade 45), you will lead the strategy and execution of athlete development plans across our EMEA Sports Marketing portfolio for Running.
You will be responsible for developing holistic athlete plans and roadmaps for our key EMEA Running athletes by partnering across the organization. Focus is on the current and upcoming top assets and athletes.
- Gather athlete insights to shape and elevate athlete experiences and services that strengthen athlete relationships.
- Drive athlete performance services through the London NSRL.
- Create meaningful product experiences that deepen athletes' connection to Nike.
- Build and execute seasonal plans connecting Running athletes to our seasonal concept map.
- Contribute to the development of the EMEA athlete tiering framework and support city teams in the roll out of local plans for next gen or strategic bets.
- Lead seasonal athlete seeding plans and servicing priorities.
- Brief athlete styling and gifting strategies with athlete services team for relevant sport and cultural moments.
- Build strong partnerships with Sports Marketing Representatives to deepen athlete understanding, key sport moments and insights.
- Manage athlete development budget for Running and investment decisions. Drive operational excellence across athlete processes and tools.

- Proven ability to build and execute athlete or brand strategies.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
- Experience managing budgets and making strategic investment decisions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for sport, athlete performance and serving athletes at the highest level.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will partner closely with Sports Marketing Representatives Running, EMEA Athlete Development & Services leads and key cross-functional stakeholders within Running to create premium athlete roadmaps and services that strengthen athlete relationships and help our athletes reach their full potential. The role reports to the EMEA Sr Director, Athlete Development & Services.
