Internship in Water Product Management

Here is what your role entails

As a Product Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience shaping our diverse product portfolio within smart metering, which includes intelligent meters, advanced software solutions, data analytics, and services. Moreover, you will gain practical experience across both strategic and operational product management, working closely with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Research & Development, Sales, and customers.

More specifically, you will be:

• Gathering and analyzing customer, market, and competitor insights
• Supporting product roadmaps, business cases, project plans, and documentation
• Helping define requirements for new meters, software solutions, and services
• Contributing to innovation and early-stage development projects
• Tracking progress across product initiatives and communicating key updates

In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of product management processes covering areas like hardware software, data and services. Furthermore, you will contribute to projects with real business impact while working closely with stakeholders across both functions and countries. As this is an internship position, you will also have the opportunity to explore your own ideas and interests within the scope of your responsibilities.

You will become part of our two Product Management teams in the Water department, consisting of 16 dedicated colleagues in total. Together, we work with solutions that combine intelligent meters, digital platforms, software, and services. In our work, we inspire each other through the sharing of diverse perspectives and ideas that make our projects stronger and more exciting. Both teams have an informal and open culture where creativity is encouraged, questioning the status quo is welcomed, and exploring new approaches is part of the job.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated student who is curious about technology and innovation and eager to learn more about product management in practice. Furthermore, through interaction with customers, you can understand customer needs, and help turn those insights into impactful projects and solutions.

• Are pursuing a degree within Engineering, Business, Innovation, IT, or a related field
• Have an interest in technology, products, and customer-centric innovation
• Possess strong analytical and communication skills
• Enjoy collaborating with stakeholders from different backgrounds and cultures
• Have an interest in how AI can be applied in everyday work

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English.
