Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Maslan Hotels S.L. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
What will your duties and responsibilities be? 1. Opening Procedures and Standardisation* Create manuals and procedures based on the hotel’s brand and policies.
- Implement the hotel’s opening procedures and standards, ensuring their integration into daily operations.
- Train teams on these procedures, ensuring their adoption as departmental and company standards and policies.
- Train teams and ensure compliance with and follow-up of mandatory training established by Marriott.
- Lead departmental meetings to ensure communication of hotel updates and follow-up on departmental objectives.
2. Staff Supervision and Management* Coordinate and supervise the Front Office team.
- Promote continuous training and team development, aligned with Marriott’s values and standards.
- Manage team schedules, holidays and absences.
3. Guest Service* Ensure personalised, high-quality guest service.
- Handle complaints and incidents effectively and professionally.
- Supervise VIP services, amenities and special requests.
4. Reservations Management* Supervise the reservation system and room availability.
- Coordinate overbooking situations and upgrades.
- Verify compliance with cancellation and no-show policies.
5. Administrative Control* Ensure accurate billing in accordance with Marriott standards.
- Verify cash counts, end-of-shift closures and payments.
- Supervise daily occupancy and ADR reports, as well as reimbursement management.
6. Interdepartmental Collaboration* Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B and other departments.
- Participate in operational meetings.
- Support events and special guest requirements.
7. Service Quality* Regularly audit departmental processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott’s Brand Standards.
8. Regulatory Compliance* Ensure compliance with the hotel’s and Marriott’s internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, data protection (GDPR) and safety regulations.
