About the role:
As an EMEA Director – Nuclear Decommissioning & Waste Management you will lead regional operations, project execution and business growth across EMEA.
You will guide safe, compliant and profitable operations, strengthening customer relationships, developing new business and ensuring delivery of decommissioning and radioactive waste management solutions.
You will report to the SVP, ELA Outage Services and be located at any Westinghouse EMEA location.
Hybrid work schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for EMEA decommissioning and waste management operations, with accountability for safety, quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Guide regional business development and profitable growth, including strategic accounts, opportunity pipeline, proposals, negotiations and partnerships.
- Build executive-level relationships with nuclear operators, utilities, government organizations, waste management bodies and main industry partners.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into executable technical and commercial solutions.
- Support Product Management and Engineering with customer insight, market requirements, product strategy and technology development priorities.
- Develop regional capabilities, partnerships and resources required to support current operations and future growth.
- Represent us with customers and important partners across the EMEA nuclear market.
- Provide management with visibility of operational performance, business opportunities, risks and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline; advanced technical or business qualifications are advantageous.
- 15+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, with exposure to decommissioning or radioactive waste management.
- Senior leadership experience in operations, project delivery and business development.
- Commercial and financial understanding, including contracts, proposals and project profitability.
- Established network and understanding of the European nuclear market.
- Customer relationship skills, with negotiation ability.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA.
