Are you a decisive, technically grounded project manager who thrives on turning complex ideas into real, manufacturable products?
Do you enjoy connecting people, creating direction, and driving progress in environments where engineering excellence matters? This is your opportunity to take a central role in shaping how we bring innovative electronics products to market — faster, smarter, and better.
Your Role
You will join our project management team in BU Product, currently consisting of three Project Managers, and report to the Head of Engineering, BU Product. The Engineering function includes Project Managers, two Team Leads and approximately 45 engineers working across different technical disciplines.
BU Product is responsible for developing and maintaining the standard products in our portfolio – the building blocks used to create our satellites. We work closely with our Product Managers, who define the portfolio and product roadmap. From there, our responsibility is to turn the roadmap into reality, taking product development from the initial phases through development and industrialization to running production.
As Project Manager, you will lead engineering projects across multiple teams and disciplines and manage several development streams simultaneously. You will create direction and momentum across engineering, operations and suppliers, ensuring that plans, dependencies and risks are visible and actively managed.
You will also support Product Owners in the early scoping of projects and work closely with the Product Engineering Manager on project status, escalations and corrective actions.
Your tasks include:
- Manage end-to-end project execution by translating requirements into structured development plans and ensuring progression from concept through to manufacturable solutions
- Develop and maintain cross-team project plans that align priorities, dependencies, timelines and deliverables across engineering, operations and supplier interfaces
- Facilitate concurrent engineering by engaging relevant disciplines early and supporting effective cross-functional decision-making
- Monitor project progress, maintain risk visibility and initiate timely corrective actions to address deviations, constraints or delays
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support on-time delivery of critical parts and alignment with project commitments
- Contribute to developing and implementing a fit-for-purpose product development model that strengthens time-to-market, scalability and continuous improvement across BU Product
What You Bring:
You’re an experienced project manager with a strong engineering foundation and a solid understanding of what it takes to move complex electronics and software products from concept to manufacturable reality. You know that successful project management is as much about people as it is about plans. You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders, ask the right questions, follow up proactively and bring different disciplines together around a shared direction.
You likely:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Have 5+ years of experience within electronics and software product development
- Bring documented experience leading technical development projects
- Understand and practice concurrent engineering principles
- Excel at creating structure and enabling effective cross-functional collaboration
Who you are:
- Helpfulness – you support teams, ask purposeful questions and pursue the answers you need
- Open communication – you communicate transparently and proactively and follow through
- True leadership – you take ownership, act with integrity and drive progress with confidence
- Structure & clarity – you create overview and direction in a dynamic environment
