We are currently looking to fill multiple positions for Equipment Specialists. The positions are senior level and require a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Operational and Strategic Improvement Projects
- Identify, initiate, and drive operational and strategic improvement projects within the manufacturing of blades.
- Conduct investment analyses to support decision-making by senior management regarding equipment optimization and CAPEX spending.
- Provide end-to-end implementation, ensuring a strong focus on the handover of utilized equipment to local maintenance.
Collaboration and Communication
As our new Equipment Specialist, you will support the development of our local strategy for manufacturing tools
and equipment in close cooperation with end users and process departments. This role includes identifying and implementing opportunities for improvements in operational efficiency through equipment optimization. Your work will involve:
- Identification of productivity improvements through equipment upgrades.
- Development of technical specifications.
- Implementation of equipment, FAT, SAT, and TOC.
- Supporting the local operational readiness of tools and equipment solutions for deployment as a Subject Matter Expert.
In this position, you will depend on establishing strong collaboration with stakeholders through a positive attitude, cross-functional collaboration, and high-level communication.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5+ years of operational experience, ideally in the wind or construction industry and a university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or marine engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills (strategic, quantitative, and organizational/process assignments) with a holistic end-to-end perspective.
- Proven track record within the implementation of technical solutions, with the ability to communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels in a large, complex, and global organization.
- A team player with a can-do attitude, open to feedback from peers and managers, and a willingness to learn and develop.
