For the opening of our new Copenhagen store, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager (m/f/d) who wants to take responsibility, support the Store Manager and help build a strong team from day one.
Job requirements
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Store Manager in the operational management of the store – from daily operations to team coordination.
- Take responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, motivate and support your team and help identify and develop talent.
- Support with staff planning, scheduling and day-to-day organization.
- Keep an eye on key operational figures and help improve the store’s performance.
- Ensure our high standards for quality, hygiene and safety are consistently maintained.
- Be a reliable point of contact for both the team and our guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Lead by example with a hands-on mentality and actively support the team during service.
- Support the Store Manager in building a strong team and establishing Burgermeister’s culture in Copenhagen.
WHAT YOU BRING
- First experience in a leadership or shift management position, ideally in gastronomy, hospitality or QSR.
- Strong team spirit and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A basic understanding of KPIs, planning and staff deployment.
- High levels of initiative, reliability and responsibility.
- Strong customer and service orientation and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is a plus.
- A hands-on approach – you are happy to jump in and support wherever needed.
