As an Operations Coordinator, you will join a team of five colleagues at the head office of Marine Care Group. In this dynamic role, you act as the key link between international end customers (shipping companies, technical managers, and operators), trading partners, and internal departments.
You ensure smooth coordination of logistical operations, oversee timely deliveries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and resource planning. No two days are the same in this fast-paced, international environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing customer inquiries and providing professional after-sales support
- Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers regarding pricing, delivery times, and terms & conditions
- Coordinating delivery orders and supporting global agents and distributors
- Ensuring accurate and timely administrative and logistical processing
- Contributing proactively to improving internal processes and efficiency

- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- A strong sense of ownership and follow-through on tasks
- The ability to prioritize effectively across time zones and varying lead times
- The ability to remain accurate and composed under daily pressure
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Residency in the Netherlands
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to make firm decisions to meet deadlines
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
- Cultural awareness and understanding of nuances in global trade
- Ambition and the ability to work independently
- Willingness to participate in a standby rotation (one week every eight weeks, including evenings and weekends)
Education & Experience
- MBO/HBO level (vocational or higher professional education)
- 1–3 years of experience in the maritime industry and/or logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office (mandatory); experience with SAP is an advantage
- Creative, solution-oriented, and able to think outside the box
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
- A hands-on “shipping mentality”
