Position Summary:
The Associate Director, PMO will lead and support enterprise transformation initiatives by providing program governance, portfolio oversight, strategic planning, and execution management across cross-functional projects. This role partners with business leaders, functional stakeholders, and project teams to ensure transformation programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong PMO leadership, change management capability, strategic thinking, and operational execution experience in complex, matrixed environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation Program Management
- Lead and oversee strategic transformation initiatives across business functions.
- Establish program structure, governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, and execution standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within the transformation portfolio.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and critical decisions across programs.
- Ensure alignment between transformation objectives and business strategy.
PMO Governance & Reporting
- Develop and maintain PMO governance processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and status reporting.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility into program health, resource utilization, budget, and KPIs.
- Drive accountability across workstreams and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leaders, business teams, IT, operations, finance, HR, and external partners.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program sponsors and leadership teams.
- Influence decision-making and drive alignment across competing priorities.
- Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Support organizational change management activities related to transformation programs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Promote adoption of standardized project management methodologies and tools.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Risk & Financial Management
- Monitor program budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and escalations proactively.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and governance standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in PMO, program management, transformation, or strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience independently leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs
- Strong understanding of project/program management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in matrix organizations.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
