You will be working within an internationally operating high-tech organization that develops innovative solutions for the semiconductor industry. In this environment, precision, innovation, and technical excellence are central. Together with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will work on the development and optimization of advanced machines and modules that are used worldwide in the production of semiconductors. You will have plenty of room for initiative, technical specialization, and the opportunity to make a mark on complex R&D and product development projects.
What will you do?
- Designing and developing high-precision mechanical modules and systems for advanced semiconductor equipment
- Translating system requirements into innovative, robust, and manufacturable mechanical designs
- Detailing and reviewing cost-, mass-, and accuracy-critical components and assemblies
- Performing and evaluating technical analyses in the areas of FEM, thermal performance, vibrations, and dynamics
- Translating analysis results into concrete design improvements and technical decisions
- Collaborating with disciplines such as mechatronics, electronics, optics, and manufacturing engineering
- Actively contributing to the improvement of design quality, development processes, and product performance
- Ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications
- Providing technical guidance and support to fellow engineers through knowledge sharing and substantive coaching
- Occasionally traveling internationally for collaboration with development and production locations, including in Asia
What we expect from you
- You are an experienced engineer with in-depth technical knowledge of precision mechanics and a strong passion for innovation.
- You combine analytical skills with a pragmatic approach and are able to turn complex challenges into effective solutions.
We also require:
- A completed university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design within the semiconductor, high-tech, mechatronics, or robotics sector.
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar, with experience in NX being a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with FEM, thermal, vibration, and dynamic analyses.
- The ability to interpret analysis results and translate them into practical design improvements.
- Experience in designing accuracy-, mass-, and cost-critical modules and components.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in coaching, guiding, and supporting fellow engineers from a technical expertise perspective.
- A structured, quality-oriented, and proactive work attitude.
- A good command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
