Junior Assistant Manager – Fulltime

Have you recently graduated or are you ready for your first leadership role?

Hostelle Amsterdam, Europe’s first women-only hostel, is looking for a motivated Junior Assistant Manager. This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to gain experience in hospitality, daily operations and team coordination.

You do not need previous management experience. We are looking for someone with the right personality, a strong sense of responsibility and the motivation to learn.

What you’ll do

• Support the Hostel Manager with daily operations
• Guide and coordinate our international volunteers
• Help reception run smoothly
• Give feedback and communicate clear expectations
• Help solve day-to-day operational issues
• Work two reception shifts per week
• Help create TikTok and Instagram content

Who we’re looking for

• You recently graduated or have some first work experience
• You are ready to take your first step into a leadership position
• You are proactive, responsible and willing to learn
• You communicate confidently and respectfully
• You can be friendly while maintaining professional boundaries
• You speak English fluently
• You are available full-time and flexible with shifts

Hospitality experience is a plus, but management experience is not required.
