The Job
As a Student Assistant in the legal team, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks in relation to carry out our deliveries, to fulfil the legal key strategic initiatives and goals, and to support the day-to-day operations of the organization.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Support the legal team on transactions, asset management and various internal projects
- Review, negotiate and draft agreements and documents, particularly non-disclosure agreements
- Assist with entity management with respect to the growing number of Novo Holdings companies
- Assist with AI optimization of certain legal workflows
The legal team consists of 12 lawyers based across offices in Copenhagen, Boston, San Francisco and Singapore. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dedicated, international, ambitious, and connected team that is driven by values, respect, and appreciation for one another.
The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week (at the Novo Holdings office in Copenhagen) with flexibility in relation to your studies.
Personal & Professional Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has completed a BA.jur. or HA.jur. and is currently enrolled in the first semester of a master’s degree in law (cand.jur.) or business administration and commercial law (cand.merc.(jur.)).
- Has a solid understanding of general contract law.
- Has a knowledge of corporate law and/or M&A – a plus but not a requirement.
- Communicates fluently in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills, combining a good overview with attention to detail.
- Works in a structured, independent manner and is a highly motivated self-starter.
- Is a team player who thrives in an international environment.
- Has an interest in the use of AI in a professional setting.
